Not that Mr. Obama has ignored the country concerning the government takeover of health care already, he is preparing to ignore the American citizen on another front. The pathway to citizenship for illegal immigrants is on its way! I haven't seen a poll recently that had the legal American citizen for this in any way, but it doesn't matter, Mr. Obama wants this to pass to shore up more Democrat votes this fall.
This is classic politician thought, if the current law doesn't work, make another one that can and will be ignored. Here is what they are saying of the new bill:
"The basis of a bill would include a path toward citizenship for the 10.8 million people living in the U.S. illegally. Citizenship would not be granted lightly, the White House said. Undocumented workers would need to register, pay taxes and pay a penalty for violating the law. Failure to comply might result in deportation."
Failure to comply MIGHT result in deportation? Kinda like now if they enter illegally they MIGHT be deported? Give me a break. This is lead by Senator Schumer (D) of NY and Senator Graham-nesty (R) (sort of) of SC. These two senators have a big stake in this with the amount of illegals that work in NY city and the illegals that work on the farms in SC. The whole thing is a disaster with no end in sight.
How about this, we enforce the laws we currently have! Now that's the All Right Idea!
