It makes one wonder how anyone in Government can sleep at night knowing what they are doing to this country. To somehow think that the best way to get out of a recession is to spend more money and go further into debt is an idiot. I know how I am in my own budget. Right now I am trying to find ways to make more and reduce my debt. Let's take this example and apply it to the Government. They should reduce taxes, this creates more money for the Government. If you don't think so, just do a little research. Also, they should stop borrowing money and enslaving the American People. However, this current administration has increased our National Debt by nearly 50% in two years. We went from $9 trillion in debt at the end of 2008 to $14 trillion now! Mr. Obama has expanded Government to the point that there are more people working for the Government than there is working in Manufacturing! This is outrageous! (CNSNews.com) - The U.S. Treasury has released a final statement for the month of March that demonstrates that financial madness has gripped the federal government.
During the month, according to the Treasury, the federal government grossed $194 billion in tax revenue and paid out $65.898 billion in tax refunds (including $62.011 to individuals and $3.887 to businesses) thus netting $128.179 billion in tax revenue for March.
At the same, the Treasury paid out a total of $1.1187 trillion. When the $65.898 billion in tax refunds is deducted from that, the Treasury paid a net of $1.0528 trillion in federal expenses for March.
