Al Gore has decided to grace us with his presence. I for one could do with out any public appearance of him. His recent Apple meeting did not go so well. Several stockholders were against his presence on the board of directors and one said this "[Gore] has become a laughingstock. The glaciers have not melted."
And Al still wants more with his article from today: We Can’t Wish Away Climate Change. Well I guess he is right. But how about we prove it away! If you read his article he is basically saying, never mind we got things wrong, I still need the money! And Climate Change is real because, uhhh, I need the money! And did I mention, I need the money?
However, no matter what Al says the IPCC and the Climate Change movement is taking body blow after body blow. Now the IPCC is burying themselves even deeper by sticking to their point that the science is settled. Never mind a few mistakes in our calculations. Here is a little of what they want us to forget.
"The chief defence offered by the warmists to all those revelations centred on the IPCC's last 2007 report is that they were only a few marginal mistakes scattered through a vast, 3,000-page document. OK, they say, it might have been wrong to predict that the Himalayan glaciers would melt by 2035; that global warming was about to destroy 40 per cent of the Amazon rainforest and cut African crop yields by 50 per cent; that sea levels were rising dangerously; that hurricanes, droughts and other "extreme weather events" were getting worse. These were a handful of isolated errors in a massive report; behind them the mighty edifice of global warming orthodoxy remains unscathed. The "science is settled", the "consensus" is intact."
Nevermind the over 30000 scientists that would dispute that it is settled. And the growing number of Right minded citizens. Keep the pressure on your Representatives to say "No" to any Climate Change Bill! Now that's the All Right Idea!
