While in Florida's Forgotten coast I did plenty of fishing and just relaxing on the beach. During my stay I looked high and low for the dreaded oil that was sure to destroy the entire state of Florida. However, I saw no oil the entire time. Even with a tropical storm pushing the tide higher the last two days. And as it turns out the oil spill has had trouble being found by the Administration's experts. While there has been oil found recently the spill has "shocked" the experts because they thought it would have been much worse. Have you ever noticed that the experts are usually wrong? Especially when it comes to the economy or the environment. It is almost as if they predict things based on their political beliefs rather than evidence. Weird huh? While the oil spill is bad and it would be better if it didn't happen, there has been something interesting results from it. Did you know they have found two "New" species of fish that live right where it happened? I wonder what else is out there we haven't found yet?
As I have said, the oil spill is bad, but it isn't the end of the entire ecosystem as it was being portrayed. And I have a question for everyone out there, if President Bush was still in office, would he have gotten away with waiting over three weeks to visit like the Chosen One, Mr. Obama, did? I think he would have been murdered in the media and portrayed as an idiot. Let's do something interesting in the media, let's give ALL the politicians the same treatment and treat them ALL like they are crooks and liars! Now that's the All Right Idea!!
